AFTERSCHOOL CARE

As a leader in youth development, the Y Childcare Program serves local children on a daily basis providing safe, quality, affordable educational childcare. We strive to help each child reach their potential by offering and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership, and cooperative spirit. 

All of our sites are licensed through the Department of Family & Protective Services.

  • PreK – 5th Grade
  • Dismissal to 6:00pm
  • Holiday breaks include Fall break, Winter Break and Spring Break

SUMMER CAMP

REGISTRATION CLOSED – SUMMER CAMP IS COMPLETED FOR 2025

Enjoy a hands-on outdoor adventure at the Y. Continue learning all summer long.

  • 7:00am-6:00pM

Summer Camp includes the BISD breakfast and lunch program. As an added PLUS, there will be additional weekly environmental field trip outings!

  • Available at the 16th Street Pool
  • $2 per person, per class (must be age 16 or up)
  • Monday-Friday
  • 6:00pm-7:00pm

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Y is committed to providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full price of Y programs. That’s the purpose of the Friend of Youth Annual Campaign. All Annual Campaign funds remain in our local community, giving children and families an opportunity to get involved in Y programs.

Applicants must complete our Financial Assistance application and provide financial documentation for consideration.
