Afterschool Care
We are licensed through the Department of Family & Protective Services. We strive to help each child reach their potential by offering an enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership, and cooperative spirit.

- Program runs Monday-Friday from dismissal to 6:00pm
Registration Fee:
- $55 (per program) or $90 for the year

On weeks that include a full day of care there will be an extra fee of $15 for that week. (Example: October 14/Columbus Day)
CCS accepted and financial assistance available. CCS accounts fall under the same timeline for submitting the YMCA registration forms and also need to request transfer from caseworker.

The Y is committed to providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full price of Y membership or programs. That’s the purpose of the Friend of Youth Annual Campaign. All Annual Campaign funds remain in our local community, giving children and families an opportunity to get involved in Y programs.
Financial Assistance covers Membership and all Y Programs. If approved, assistance expires every 6 months and members are required to re-apply in writing, or they will be moved to a regular priced plan. Members must complete our Financial Assistance application and provide financial documentation for consideration.

Camp is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-12:30pm. On Fridays, time is 8:00am until return from field trip. Camp is located at the Sanford Community Center in Palacios, Texas.

- $5 per class or $30 a month for unlimited classes

As a leader in youth development, the Y Childcare Programs serve local children on a daily basis providing safe, quality, affordable educational childcare. All of our sites are licensed through the Department of Family & Protective Services. We strive to help each child reach their potential by offering and enriching environment that encourages the development of character, leadership, and cooperative spirit.

Afterschool Care includes our Youth Sports Development Clinic! Clinic will be offered from 5-6pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Coach Mark Hastings II and Coach Charles Hastings will focus on developing the spirit, mind and body. This program is a FREE part of the Afterschool Program.

Your kids will have the opportunity to try new activities, gain independence and make lasting memories in a fun and supportive environment. Weekly themes and field trips add fun activities each week.
