SUMMER CAMP
AT THE CALHOUN COUNTY YMCA
Summer Camp at the YMCA in Port Lavaca provides youth with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Camp activities allow kids to create arts and crafts, explore the great outdoors, learn different sports, swim and participate in field trips. Camp is offered in Port Lavaca and Palacios.
Our teen programs in Port Lavaca and Palacios are a great way to connect your teen with other teens in the area, and adults who strive to be role models in your teen’s life.
Because outside is the new inside! Kids will be able to participate in various hands-on, educational field trips throughout the summer. Join us AND EXPLORE!

SUMMER CAMP
- Kinder Camp (ages 4-5)
- Camp Awala (ages 6-10)
- Teen Camp (ages 11-14)
Camp is Monday-Friday from 6:45am-6:00pm.
Campers are in age specific groups and enjoy new and exciting themes each week with field trips. Field trips are optional and at an additional fee.

15 spots are open for each mini camp.
Cooking Camp (Beginner):
- Ages 8 and up
- 1:00pm-3:00pm
- June 9-12
- Located at Bauer Exhibit Building
Art Camp Jr:
- Ages 8 and up
- 1:00pm-3:00pm
- June 16-18
- Located at Bauer Exhibit Building
Cooking Camp (Advanced):
- Ages 9-14
- 1:00pm-3:00pm
- July 14-17
- Located at Bauer Exhibit Building
Tech Camp 1:
- Ages 9-14
- 2:00pm-4:00pm
- June 2-12
- Located at the Calhoun County YMCA
Tech Camp 2:
- Ages 9-14
- 5:00pm-7:00pm
- June 16-26
- Located at the Calhoun County YMCA

CAMP IN PALACIOS
REGISTRATION OPEN NOW!
Camp is Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:00pm. On Fridays, time is 8:00am until return from field trip. Camp is located at the Sanford Community Center in Palacios, Texas.
Open to ages 6-12

- Field Trip: Bay City Movies (June 4)
- Week 2: June 9-12 Theme: Camper vs. Counselor
- Field Trip: Urban Air (June 11)
- Week 3: July 7-10 Theme: Surf’s Up
- Field Trip: Aquarium (July 9)
- Week 4: July 14-17 Theme: Little Green Thumbs
- Field Trip: Botanical Garden (July 17)
- As an added PLUS, there will be additional weekly environmental field trip outings!
