SUMMER CAMP
AT THE CALHOUN COUNTY YMCA

Summer Camp at the YMCA in Port Lavaca provides youth with supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Camp activities allow kids to create arts and crafts, explore the great outdoors, learn different sports, swim and participate in field trips. Camp is offered in Port Lavaca and Palacios.

Because outside is the new inside! Kids will be able to participate in various hands-on, educational field trips throughout the summer. Join us AND EXPLORE!

SUMMER CAMP

REGISTRATION OPENS APRIL 13, 2026  

  • Kinder Camp (ages 4-5)
  • Camp Awala (ages 6-10)
  • Teen Camp (ages 11-14)

Camp is Monday-Friday from 6:45am-6:00pm. Campers are in age specific groups and enjoy new and exciting themes each week with field trips. Field trips are optional and at an additional fee.

  • CCS accepted and financial assistance available.

There are 2 registration options:

  • Online registration below (beginning April 13th)
  • Print Registration Form and fill it out.
  • You MUST receive confirmation of payment and enrollment prior to child’s attendance.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Y is committed to providing financial assistance to those who cannot afford the full price of Y programs. That’s the purpose of the Friend of Youth Annual Campaign. All Annual Campaign funds remain in our local community, giving children and families an opportunity to get involved in Y programs.

Financial Assistance covers Membership and all Y Programs. Members must complete our Financial Assistance application and provide financial documentation for consideration.
